Anybody have any advice on Golfito for appliances? Worth the trip? How does it work? Assuming of course we all don't end up in Vanuatu answering phones and paying staff with large round stone money!

worth the trip, went twice already, saved a couple hundred each trip. Works with your cedula, don't have one buy one for the amount you want to purchase up to 80,000 per cedula. You need to atay at a local hotel overnight before you can purchase.

Is it just appliances or is there furniture and other things?
I understand you can rent the use of Cedulas from freindly locals

 

locals sell there vouchers cheap....each voucher i believe is worth 500 i believe. sell for a couple thousand...they find u

furniture i don't remember seeing but then i was not looking for it either so they may very well have it there
